Please read these terms before ordering garments or personalised workwear. You can save or print this page for your records. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

For questions about an order or these terms, use the contact details above or our contact page. Please include your order reference where relevant. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity before disclosing personal data.

2. These terms

These terms apply to orders placed through the TP Workwear website unless we expressly agree different terms in writing. A consumer is an individual buying wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession. A business customer buys for business purposes. Provisions marked for business customers apply only to those customers, not consumers.

If you order for an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to do so. Your statutory consumer rights take priority over any inconsistent term. Separately agreed trade-credit terms do not arise simply by creating an account.

3. Garments, colours, sizes and availability

Descriptions, photographs and colour swatches are reasonable representations, not exact guarantees of screen colour or finish. Screens, fabric batches and manufacturing processes can produce reasonable variation. Products must still match their description and meet applicable legal quality requirements.

Sizes and availability vary by colour. A product’s overall size range does not mean every size exists in every colour. Supplier stock changes and discontinuations may affect availability. If a confirmed order cannot be supplied, we will contact you to discuss an agreed alternative or refund the unavailable goods. We will not make a materially different substitution without your agreement.

Size guides are guidance. You are responsible for choosing the sizes you need unless we make an error or provide incorrect information on which you reasonably rely. A correctly supplied size that does not fit is not itself a defect; applicable cancellation rights for unpersonalised consumer goods still apply.

4. Branding and personalisation

Mock-ups record your selected branding locations, artwork and adjustments and guide production. They are visual representations, not photographic or millimetre-perfect guarantees. Reasonable differences may result from garment construction, fabric and the print or embroidery process. Any material departure from the agreed order will be discussed with you.

Existing manufacturer marks or unsuitable artwork/positions may require a minor adjustment. We may contact you to resolve this before production; we will seek your agreement where the change materially affects your chosen design. Thread, ink and fabric can affect colour and appearance. Tell us before ordering if an exact brand-colour match or position is essential so we can discuss what is achievable.

Our team checks files and may ask for suitable replacement artwork. The agreed checkout mock-up is the production reference; a separate proof stage is not included unless specifically agreed. We do not represent that all embroidery is produced in-house.

5. Your artwork and intellectual property

You confirm you own or have the necessary permission to use and reproduce all artwork, logos, trademarks, names, photographs and other content supplied to us. Do not supply unlawful, infringing or harmful content. Customer artwork remains the property of you or its rights-holder. You give us permission to use it to produce and administer your order and support agreed reorders.

Our website, templates, original creative work and proprietary processes remain ours or their respective owners’ property unless agreed otherwise. Any separately commissioned design ownership or usage rights should be agreed in writing.

Business customers only: you are responsible for reasonable, evidenced losses and third-party infringement claims arising directly from artwork you supplied without the required rights. This does not cover infringement caused by our unauthorised changes or our own fault. We will notify you promptly, take reasonable steps to reduce loss and will not agree a settlement at your expense without your reasonable involvement.

Artwork may be securely retained to support production and reorders, subject to our Privacy Policy.

6. Placing and accepting orders

You choose garments, colours, sizes and branding, provide contact/order details and complete Shopify-hosted checkout. Check the configuration and total before confirming payment. We treat a successful checkout order/payment confirmation as order acceptance, subject to any payment method or separate written arrangement shown at checkout. A basket, mock-up or abandoned checkout is not an accepted order.

We may contact you to resolve unsuitable artwork, availability or an obvious pricing/technical error. We will not impose a material change or additional price without agreement. If we cannot fulfil the order as agreed, we will explain the options and refund amounts due for goods we cannot supply.

You may order without artwork, but production may wait until suitable artwork and instructions are received. Provide purchase order, VAT, company and cost-centre references accurately; tell us promptly about errors.

7. Prices, VAT and payment

Website garment and branding prices are shown excluding VAT where labelled. Applicable VAT, delivery charges and the final payable amount are displayed in Shopify-hosted checkout before you pay. Check that final total: it is the amount for the order, not an earlier indicative basket figure.

Payment is required through an offered checkout method unless approved account terms have been agreed separately. Account creation does not grant credit. We do not store full card details in our workwear application.

If an obvious pricing error is discovered, we will contact you before production to explain the correct price. You can decline it and cancel the affected order for a refund of sums paid for it. This does not allow arbitrary price changes to an accepted order.

8. Production, delivery and collection

Production time is separate from courier transit. A courier estimate does not include artwork preparation or garment branding. Dates are estimates unless we expressly agree a firm date; tell us before ordering if timing is essential. Consumers retain statutory delivery rights, including the applicable default delivery period where another time has not been agreed.

Available delivery services, charges and any free-delivery offer are shown at checkout. DPD or another courier may be used as appropriate. Collection from The Printers location is available only when offered and should take place after we notify you the order is ready. The verified collection address must be provided before collection is arranged.

You are responsible for a correct delivery address and reasonable access. We will discuss failed deliveries and any reasonable extra charge attributable to incorrect instructions, without reducing consumer rights. Risk passes when you, or a person you nominate, physically receive the goods or collect them; for consumers, this follows the applicable statutory rule.

Business customers only: ownership remains with us until payment in full, to the extent lawful. Delays outside reasonable control are dealt with under section 15, not a blanket exclusion of delivery obligations.

9. Cancellations and changes

Unpersonalised goods bought by consumers

Where the statutory distance-selling right applies, you can cancel without giving a reason within 14 days after you or your nominated recipient receives the goods. For qualifying goods in one order delivered separately, the period normally runs from receipt of the last item. Tell us clearly that you wish to cancel before that period ends, using our contact details. You then normally have 14 days to send the goods back.

We refund the price and the basic outbound delivery charge required by law, but not the extra cost of a delivery service above our least expensive standard option. Refunds are normally made within 14 days after we receive the returned goods or evidence you sent them back, whichever is earlier, using the original payment method unless agreed otherwise. You bear direct return costs for a change-of-mind cancellation where we have informed you of that responsibility; we bear costs where legally required, including qualifying faults. We may deduct for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, where the law permits.

Personalised or made-to-specification goods

The statutory change-of-mind cancellation right generally does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, including garments branded with your chosen logo or name. This exception does not remove rights for faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming goods.

Before production, we may agree changes or cancellation of personalised orders and explain any reasonable, evidenced work or irrecoverable costs already incurred. We will not charge such discretionary costs to override a consumer’s statutory cancellation or faulty-goods rights.

Business customers: there is no automatic consumer cooling-off right. Changes or cancellation require agreement; reasonable committed garment, artwork and production costs may be payable. We will take reasonable steps to limit avoidable loss.

Optional consumer cancellation notice

To: TP Workwear, using the contact details in section 1.
I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following goods:
Order number / goods:
Ordered on / received on:
Consumer name:
Consumer address:
Signature (only if sent on paper):
Date:

You may use this notice, but any clear statement of cancellation is sufficient.

10. Returns, faults and incorrect goods

Inspect your order when reasonably possible and contact us with the order number, a description of the issue and photographs where helpful. We will explain the appropriate return or resolution process. Do not send goods to an unconfirmed address.

Consumers are entitled to goods of satisfactory quality, fit for a purpose made known to us where applicable, and as described. Faulty or misdescribed goods are dealt with under applicable law, including rejection, repair/replacement or refund rights where available. No short notification deadline in these terms limits those rights.

Personalised goods are not normally returnable simply for a change of mind. Customer sizing choices, spelling or artwork errors are not production defects if we supplied the agreed order correctly; a difference caused by our error is our responsibility. Business customers should report issues promptly, but nothing excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Your responsibilities

Check sizes, quantities, colours, spelling, artwork, branding positions, delivery details and business references. Make sure you have permission to use supplied content and to provide other people’s personal data. Respond promptly to production queries. We will explain any resulting change to the production schedule; your responsibilities do not excuse an error made by us.

12. Customer accounts and portal

Keep login details secure, do not share passwords and tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised use. You are responsible for use you authorise, but this does not automatically make you liable for activity outside your control or remove legal protections. We may restrict or suspend access for misuse, a reasonable security concern or other lawful reason. This does not remove rights relating to a paid order. An account does not automatically confer trade-credit or pay-on-account terms.

13. Liability and business-customer terms

Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability which cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Business customers only: subject to that protection and the statutory reasonableness requirements, our aggregate liability for ordinary direct losses arising from an order is limited to the price paid or payable for that order. To the extent lawful and reasonable, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or anticipated savings. This limitation does not reduce our obligation to refund sums legally due or apply where it would be unlawful or unreasonable. Tell us before ordering about an unusual risk or a need for separately agreed protection.

Consumers: the business exclusions and cap do not apply. We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach or failure to use reasonable care and skill, subject to the law. We are not responsible for a loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.

14. Consumer rights

Nothing in these terms limits statutory consumer rights, including rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and applicable distance-selling regulations. Personalisation does not remove faulty-goods rights. Independent guidance is available from Citizens Advice.

15. Events outside reasonable control

If an event outside our reasonable control affects an order, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to reduce its impact. We will discuss revised timing or alternatives. This does not permit indefinite delay or remove cancellation/refund rights available by law. Where there is a substantial delay and we cannot agree a reasonable solution, contact us to discuss cancellation and any refund due.

16. Website use

Do not hack, introduce malicious code, misuse accounts, interfere with security or carry out unauthorised scraping or other activity that infringes rights or disrupts the service. Website content and availability may change, and temporary interruptions can occur. We use reasonable care to keep information accurate; an interruption does not remove our obligations for accepted orders.

17. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains personal-data use. Our Cookie Policy explains cookie and browser-storage choices. Marketing consent is not required to buy goods.

18. Changes to these terms

The terms in force when you place your order apply to that order, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. Updated terms apply to later orders. The last-updated date above identifies this version.

19. Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Business-customer disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. Consumers elsewhere in the UK keep mandatory local protections and any right to bring proceedings in the courts where they live. This clause does not deprive a consumer of those protections or court rights.
